性狀：粉末，是一種非特異性、枯草桿菌蛋白酶相關(guān)的蛋白酶， 來源于念球菌(. Tritirachium album. )，具有很高的比活性。EDTA等鰲合劑或SDS等去垢劑不能使蛋白酶K失活，反而增強和穩(wěn)定酶活性，并在較廣的PH范圍內(nèi)（PH4-2.5）均有活性。在組織或細胞核酸分離時，使核酸酶（RNA和DNA）以及反應中其他酶失活。
用途：生化研究。廣譜蛋白酶，95C 加熱0 分鐘，則*失活。可替代 DEPC 處理 RNA 抽提用的離心管和槍頭，實現(xiàn)滅活 RNase A 的目的，也用于處理 RNase-Free的水。充分降解組織或細胞中蛋白質(zhì)分子特別是核酸，以達到釋放和萃取高質(zhì)量核酸的輔助試劑。用于質(zhì)粒或基因組DNA、RNA的分離以及蛋白多肽印跡實驗。
